Job Description:
​We are seeking an Assistant Pastor to help lead a congregation of 300+ members. We are seeking a spirit-filled preacher with a passion for youth and young adult ministry, as well as community outreach.Our church is in Hicksville, New York, and is currently in the process of building our new facility in the neighboring town of Syosset. We have been worshiping in a very culturally diverse part of Long Island for more than 20 years. We aspire for our church to continue to be a beacon of God’s love and to grow as a house of worship for people of all nations. We have several active ministries including small groups, Women and Young Women-focused groups, Sunday School (Pre-k to Adult), AWANA Children’s ministry, Prison-outreach, and Missions.  We are involved with multiple mission fields in Africa and India.The Assistant Pastor would be actively involved in the life and leadership of the whole church body but will have a focus on the youth and young families of the church. As our church continues to grow, he will have a vital role in community outreach, missions, and fostering discipleship within the church.
Qualifications:

1. ​3 to 5 years of experience as an ordained Pastor in a Pentecostal Church.
2. ​Track record of success in leading and developing leaders (experience in the US or Canada preferred).
3. ​Have a college education and theological degree from an accredited evangelical seminary or equivalent experience.
4. ​A scripturally qualified man of at least 30 years of age and married.
5. ​US citizen or green card holder.
6. ​Must be in full agreement with the doctrine and teachings of the church, and in accordance with 1 Timothy 3:1-10, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-3.
7. ​Must be able to express a personal salvation experience of faith in Jesus Christ.
8. ​​Must have received, and teaches Believers Baptism, and has a personal experience of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4
9. ​​Must have integrity, high moral values, and be able to express a “genuine call” to serve God and His church in this capacity.

​Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Parsonage will be provided.
